I am the Team Leader for the support staff and the official greeter at The Life Balance. On warm sunny days, I can be found hanging my head over the fence at the entrance to the office. I am gentle and caring with the small and meek (i.e. our chickens, cats & children). Please feel free to give me a pet, kiss, hug and/or sweet words of endearment as you pass me by. I look forward to many years working with this small but powerful counselling company. When I am not working, I enjoying chewing on toys, wrestling with my friends at the BX dog park and chasing my own tail.
I am a junior psychotherapist in training and the newest member of The Life Balance. Despite making many mistakes (such as peeing on the floor, chewing on furniture, chasing the cats, wrestling with clients, etc.) The Life Balance staff have been very patient in teaching me how to be my best self. I am still trying to overcome my nervousness, therefore with your permission, I will be joining your therapy sessions with the goal of becoming more confident and comfortable in my canine therapy role.
I am an important part of the co-therapist team at Erin Sike-Anderson Counselling. We are so grateful to be sharing a space at The Life Balance. If I am not busy seeing clients, I will always be there first person at the office door to excitedly greet and welcome you to our waiting room. My favorite part of coming to work is spending time with Vinnie, getting pets from our clients and eating my "good girl" treats!!!
Even though they have completely opposite personalities and physical characteristics, Vinnie and Iris value the connection, trust, and the safety that they have found in their relationship with each other. No matter how different we are in size, strength, or background, we can find comfort, companionship, and support in each other.
