I am the junior support worker and the newest member of The Life Balance, having joined the team 12 months ago. Despite making many mistakes (i.e. peeing on the floor & chewing on furniture) the The Life Balance staff have been very patient in teaching me how to be my best self. I am the official greeter and can be found hanging my head over the fence at the entrance of The Life Balance office. Please feel free to give me a pet, kiss, hug and sweet words of endearment as you pass me by. I look forward to many years working with this small but powerful counselling company. When I am not working, I enjoying chewing on toys, annoying The Life Balance felines, wrestling with my friends at the BX dog park and chasing my own tail.
I am part of the support staff. Because of my shy nature, I prefer to focus my time and energy on the interior of the facility. I pride myself on the fact that while you may never see me, my efforts can be found everywhere. When I am not busy ensuring that cleaning, cooking of staff lunches and restocking of client beverages are being done, I can be found under the blankets of beds, chesterfields or chairs throughout the facility.
I'm the client care quality officer for The Life Balance. It is my job to keep a watchful eye over the service standards. Clients will spot me sitting on the fence outside of the clinical office watching over the therapeutic process inside. If you have a complaint about any of the services offered at The Life Balance Office, please just fill out the 32 page client feedback form and I will get back to you within 360 business days to follow up.
I am the Office Manager in charge of reception and security. I am truely excited every time I get the privilege of welcoming a client at the The Life Balance entrance or gardens. I pride myself on my friendly outgoing personality. In addition to welcoming guests, it is my job to ensure that the entire facility is mice, spider and insect free. My team consists of two other felines and four chickens. We guarantee you will be meet with friendly purrs, clucks and meows each and every time you come for a visit. In my spare time I can be found greeting visitors (whether they like it or not) to Lakeview park where I lead tours of the beautiful pool, baseball diamonds and green spaces.
You were our favorite feline friend and will
be dearly missed by all of us little buddy!!!
RIP June 23, 2022
I am the Team Leader for the support staff at The Life Balance. For those who have not yet meet me in person, you have likely heard me doing my job from behind the backyard fence. I have incredibly empathetic listening skills, health boundaries that I efficiently enforce (with visitors from behind windows, doors and fences). I am gentle and caring with the small and meek (i.e. our chickens, cats & children). I am a steady and calming presence for the staff and am always offering hugs and cuddles to whoever needs it the most. When I am not busy working, I enjoy spending time on long walks in the forest or meditating on my chesterfield.
What we learned from Daisy is that the best things come in large packages and are only with us for small periods of time.
RIP December 2022
